Privacy policy
1. Summary
sendcheck.eu processes as little data as possible. The calculation runs entirely in your browser. The amount, fee and rate are never sent to us and never stored. We use no cookies, no local storage, no analytics or tracking tools, and no ad networks.
The one exception: clicking "Get live mid-market rate" sends a request from your browser to an external rate service (see section 4). Without that click, no such request is made.

3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
When you visit the site, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system, and the status code. This is necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure, stable operation. The access log files only store IP addresses in shortened (anonymised) form, so they cannot be linked to a person. Full IP addresses are processed by the host only briefly for delivery and to defend against attacks, and are then deleted.
4. Live mid-market rate
On your click, the calculator can fetch the current mid-market rate. Your browser then sends a request directly to a public, free rate feed (served via the jsDelivr network, with Cloudflare Pages as a fallback), not through our server. None of your form entries are transmitted: the request only fetches a general euro exchange-rate table that is the same for every visitor.
The operator of that rate feed may process technical connection data such as your IP address, as is normal whenever any file on the internet is requested. We have no influence over this and receive no data about you back from that service. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to show you a current reference rate when you ask for it. Delivery runs through international content delivery networks (including Cloudflare, Inc., USA), so processing may also take place in third countries such as the United States. For the US, an adequacy decision of the European Commission applies (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) insofar as the respective company is certified under it. 5. Links to providers and affiliate links
Our pages contain links to money-transfer providers and to BaFin. Following these links takes you away from our site. Only then does the respective provider process data under its own responsibility.
Some links are labelled as affiliate links. After a click, the provider or an affiliate network may set cookies on their own site to attribute the referral. We receive no personal data about you from this, only a statement of referred orders.
6. Contact by email
If you email us, we process your address and message to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or (b) for contractual matters. We delete the data once the enquiry is settled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Please contact the email address above.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
8. Language versions
This policy is available in several languages. In case of differences, the German version applies.
